LOW-VOLTAGE SERVICES

Build the network in before the walls close

We design and install structured cabling, fiber, Wi-Fi, cameras, and access control for new construction across NYC and Long Island. We plan with your GC and electrician from the blueprints, rough in before drywall, and hand over a labeled, tested, documented building at turnover.

THE CHALLENGE

New construction punishes low-voltage that gets added as an afterthought. Here is where it usually goes wrong.

01
Data left for last

Low-voltage gets scoped after the slab is poured and the conduit paths are already claimed. The data drops then fight the HVAC and sprinkler runs, and the network closet (IDF) lands somewhere with no power or cooling.

02
Five subs, no owner

Cabling, Wi-Fi, cameras, door access, and AV come in as separate trades with separate change orders. Nobody owns the handoff, so the punch list runs long and the as-builts never agree.

03
Wi-Fi dead zones after move-in

AP locations get guessed instead of modeled, so the corner offices and stairwells drop signal. By the time anyone notices, the ceiling is closed and adding a drop means cutting drywall.

WHAT WE DO

What we build into the job

01
Design from the blueprints

We sit with the GC and electrician during pre-construction, place the IDF and MDF closets and risers, and lay out conduit and pathways before they are committed. Data gets a seat at the table while there is still room to move it.

02
Rough-in before drywall

We pull Cat6A and a fiber backbone sized for the next ten years while the walls are open. Every drop runs directly back to the right closet, sleeved through fire-rated pathways, and stubbed where the devices will actually land.

03
Predictive Wi-Fi, then validated

We model UniFi access-point placement with a coverage map against your floor plans and wall materials before the ceiling closes. After install we walk the building and validate coverage, so the dead zones get found on paper instead of after move-in.

04
One trade for everything low-voltage

Data, Wi-Fi, cameras, door access, and conference room AV come from one crew on one schedule. You get one set of as-builts and one point of contact, with no sub-to-sub finger-pointing on the punch walk.

WHAT YOU GET

A network you stop worrying about.

Every job leaves labeled, tested, and documented, with the port maps and diagrams handed to you.

FAQ

Straight answers.

At pre-construction, before conduit and pathway layout is locked. We coordinate with your GC and electrician so the IDF and MDF closets, risers, and cable paths are placed right the first time. We can join later, but early planning saves change orders.

Yes. We take off from the blueprints, mark drop locations and closet placement, and return red-lined as-builts at turnover. We coordinate our pathways with the mechanical, sprinkler, and electrical trades so nothing collides above the ceiling.

Yes. We sequence our rough-in around framing and drywall, and we run cable certification and device install on nights or weekends when it keeps the GC's schedule moving. We offer same-day response in NYC and on Long Island when something on the critical path needs us.
