IT FOR RESTAURANTS
Your POS should never drop mid-rush
We build the networks behind restaurants across NYC and Long Island. Toast, Square, and Clover terminals that stay up through a Friday night. Guest Wi-Fi walled off from payments, and cameras over every register. We install after close so service is never interrupted.
A restaurant network gets hammered in ways an office network never does. Here is where it usually breaks.
Tickets stall, cards decline, and the line backs up to the door. Usually it traces to guest devices and the POS fighting over the same Wi-Fi and the same internet line.
Fifty phones streaming on the dining-room Wi-Fi can choke the same connection your terminals and kitchen screens (KDS) depend on. With no separation, your guests slow down your own registers.
Card data riding the same flat network as guest traffic is a PCI problem waiting for an audit. And when a chargeback or an incident hits, the register footage is missing or already overwritten.
What we build for restaurants
Your Toast, Square, or Clover terminals and kitchen screens get their own private network (VLAN) with priority on the line. We can add a second internet line that kicks in automatically so a Spectrum outage does not close the kitchen.
Guests get their own Wi-Fi network (SSID) and branded sign-in page on Ubiquiti UniFi, speed-capped and fully separate from payments. They can stream all they want and your registers never feel it.
Coverage over every drawer, the line, and the dining room, with enough retention to settle a chargeback or a slip-and-fall weeks later. Pull up any register from your phone.
We split card processing, back office, cameras, and guest traffic onto separate networks so a compromised guest phone can never reach a payment terminal. Every drop is labeled and documented.
A network you stop worrying about.
Every job leaves labeled, tested, and documented, with the port maps and diagrams handed to you.
Straight answers.
Yes. We design so payments keep working even if the internet drops, and can install a second internet line, often cellular, that takes over automatically. If your primary line drops mid-service, terminals stay online and the kitchen keeps firing.
That is most of our restaurant work. We standardize the build across every site and manage it centrally, so the network in Astoria looks identical to the one in Huntington and you see them all from one dashboard.
No. We schedule cabling, switch swaps, and camera work after close or before open. You walk in to a finished, labeled system and never lose a cover.
